Dale O’Shields is senior pastor of Church of the Redeemer in Gaithersburg, MD, a growing congregation in the greater-Washington, DC area.

Pastor Dale’s emphasis in ministry is biblical teaching that addresses the practical needs and demands of everyday life. His teachings are broadcast to a wider audience through the Practical Living and Maximum Potential radio and television programs. He also ministers regularly in various countries with a focus on equipping and encouraging pastors and church leaders.

As an experienced counselor, Pastor Dale has led numerous seminars and workshops focusing on marriage and family enrichment and interpersonal relationships. His book "Steps To Freedom" presents essential truths to find healing from past negative life experiences and hope through the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Dale is a graduate of Anderson College, Erskine College and Regent University. He has been involved in pastoral ministry since 1978, serving previously as Director of Campus Ministries and as an adjunct faculty member in the School of Counseling at Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA. He and his wife Terry have two married daughters and two grandchildren.
